Improving Communication, Behavioral, Psychosocial and Developmental Skills
91¶¶Òõ-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS) are specialized, intensive treatments for children with a wide range of disabilities, guided by an approved individualized treatment plan. Services are provided in the child’s home or other age-appropriate community settings. Ongoing parent participation is essential to maximize learning during treatment. HBTS services aim to help children participate fully in their families and communities by improving communication, behavioral, psychosocial, and developmental skills. Our Clinical Director oversees a team of highly qualified licensed healthcare professionals who support families throughout their journey of raising a child with a disability.
Children who meet the following criteria may be eligible:
- Under the age of 21
- Resident of Rhode Island
- Live at home
- Meet income and resource requirements
- Would require care provided by a nursing facility or Intermediate Care Facility
