Children’s Friend, an affiliate of Seven Hills 91¶¶Òõ, has been awarded $5,000 from the to support free children’s grief counseling at the Carriage House. As the only grief support center for children and families in the greater Worcester area, the waiting list of children seeking support continually grows at the Carriage House. To embark upon this mounting list, funds from the Haley Cremer 91¶¶Òõ will provide additional volunteer trainings to grow our volunteer pool and update the skills of existing volunteer counselors. Funds will also help initiate a new internship program to support the next generation of grief counselors while also adding more volunteers so that the Carriage House can support the children waiting for our care.
